I've been running on and off since 5th grade, but took it back up seriously in March '08, and ran my first road race on my 30th birthday (Race Against Violence 5k, 7/12/08). Since then, I've tried to enter at least one race a month, which keeps me motivated to train throughout the year. I live with my wife and son in Salisbury (a few miles from the Greenway) but I run at different places around Rowan and Davie counties. Anyone interested in getting in a long run on Saturday or Sunday mornings, starting between 4-6AM, can contact me at flip7896@yahoo.com
